Best jacket ever!
- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
- Fit: True to size
I really enjoy Patagonia jackets and this style with the hood is great for skiing. The hood fits perfectly underneath my helmet and keeps me warms throughout the day.
Can Nice and warm

I gave this as a gift. "I was given this Nano Puff as a gift and I love it. I got a size large and it fits great, not too loose not too tight. Great even when it gets pretty nippy outside and light enough to pack and take traveling or out on an adventure. I use it under my shell when I am skiing or out hiking.
Classic jacket to own!

I bought this jacket as a gift for my little brother for Christmas. He was looking for a lightweight jacket good for mild winters in Texas. This jacket works great! It is lightweight but still warm and works great for everyday wearing. He is about 5'8 and 150 pounds (with an athletic build) and the medium fit him just a little big. Probably something he will grow into. Not a problem though, I knew the fit of this jacket was a little boxier than most so it fit just as I imagined. Great jacket overall!
Perfect Jacket

Super happy with this puffy. Super comfortable and very warm. Works as a great layer for skiing but also as a stand alone jacket for around town in the winter. I really like how low profile it is compared to some other puffy jackets I've had in the past that are a little bulkier. I hate having a big bulky insulated layer under my shell so this is perfect for me. Another quality piece by Patagucci
Versatile Jacket.
This is a great jacket for wearing alone or under a shell on colder days. I wear it almost everyday in the winter. Fits true to size and will last many years.
Fits great, not all that warm
- Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

Maybe I just run a little cool but this jacket did not keep me warm in 30 degree temps.. The fit and quality are great and it's a cool looking jacket. But it's lightweight and would need lots of layering to be your only winter jacket.

This jacket is great. It can withstand colder temperatures, and still be used in warmer temperatures without being too hot. The sizing is pretty accurate in my opinion as well.
Love it

I bought this for my husband and it looks great on. He had an older one without a hood.
He is 6”4’ tall and thin, and wears a M.

This is the first NanoPuff I've owned and it was definitely worth the cost. Warm, comfortable and fits perfectly. I wear it everywhere and have been very happy with it so far.
Third Time's the Charm
- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
- Fit: True to size
This is the third NanoPuff I've bought because I like them so much. I bought my first NanoPuff prior to doing some high altitude backpacking and climbing on the west coast. i used it for a season or two, and unfortunately lost it to an alpine stream running off South Sister in Oregon. I replaced it with another company's hoodie, which shredded during a week-long adventure in the Sierra. As soon as I returned from that trip, I went to my local outfitter, who only had a few puffies from other brands; i needed a puffy quickly since i was heading back out to the high country shortly thereafter, so against my best judgment, bought what was on the rack; another mistake, since this one was too light and when i hit the high routes, i was instantly chilled by 100kph+ winds. Back home, I gave it away to one of my buddies for city use, and have come back to the real deal, the hooded Patagonia NanoPuff. This model has kept me warm in high winds, and has just enough moisture resistance to keep me dry in the occasional sleet storm or snow flurry in the high country. The synthetic fill still keeps me warm even when wet through, which does happen on strenuous routes and after an unexpected mid-summer rain.
I *love* these puffies: minimal bulk, good fit to keep out drafts, adjustable hem at the bottom, longer sleeves to keep my arms warm when climbing and reaching, 75% recycled synthetic fill that's just right for spring and summer high country chill, light weight, crushes small in my pack, and zipper pulls for gloved or mittened fingers. This is my third NanoPuff, and I'm very, very glad to have it for my frequent high country adventures. My second was the hoodless version, and I've come back to the hoodie because of the extra wind protection when I'm wearing a helmet, or when I don't want to fish around in my pack for my watch cap/toque.
This is a staple in my pack, and it's my typical outer layer for backpacking, climbing, chilly nights in the back country, and so much more.
Great review. You like Patagonias synthetic more than actual down? I'm looking for a puffy that can hang while climbing first and foremost, but I only want to buy one so I want it for about town too

Like this Jacket a lot. The somewhat ’slim’ fit with light weight is perfect- makes the jacket wearable all day without the bulky feel. The packable feature is great for travels. It is on the pricier side unless you get a discount.

Review from a Customer in the PNW:
"I love my Nanopuff jacket! It's probably the most-used item in my outerwear collection. It keeps me cool enough enough on a summer evening but warm enough on a blustery fall day, I'll be looking to buy another when I wear this one out!"
Classic

Patagonia makes a great product and this is no exception. Light weight and warm and solid construction.
Great Puffy
This puffy provides enough insulation and is super packable. Also a great lightweight jacket for using around the town.
incredible
I'm very pleased with this jacket. I'm finding it great for any type of conditions. When I got my hands on this jacket I didn't realize how great it was for being on the thinner side.
Worth your $$

I bought this jacket for a camping trip that I was taking to the Grand Canyon in early March. The weather was going to be in the 50's during the day and right around freezing at night.
I was very pleased with how the jacket handled the cold! In the mornings and at night I would wear a sweatshirt combined with this jacket and be very comfortable! It kept me warm and was comfortable enough to wear all week. I also enjoyed the fact that it had a hood, that was nice to have at night around the campfire.
I also happen to know that its comfortable enough to sleep in, since my sleeping bag wasn't as warm as I hoped I was in the jacket nearly 18 hours a day for a whole week. It held up well and would buy it again. It will also be a great 3 seasons coat for around town. I constantly find myself reaching for it!
My only complaint is that one of my cuffs is more stretched out than the other, which I'm sure is just mine. It is the typical Patagonia sizing so the sleeves run a little long, just be conscience of that when buying.
Simply Perfect

I use this jacket primarily as a mid-layer, under a shell, on cold days. The warmth to bulk ratio is incredible. Where a down jacket, under a shell, would normally make you feel like Frankie's little brother (A Christmas Story), the Nano Puff wears like a light fleece with twice the warmth. I live in the CO mountains, where the weather changes every five minutes, the Nano Puff packs down so small that its a no-brainer to stuff into a messenger bag or small day pack. All this, and there is a fantastic bonus... the Nano Puff hood is designed to fit UNDER a helmet (...mind blown...). If you ski on Hoth, no worries, hood under helmet = super toasty.
Warm and lightweight.

Purchased this as a Christmas gift for my fiance, as he had been lusting over these jackets for some time but would never spend the money on himself. He loves it! It's very light but warm. He layers it under a hard shell/rain jacket on cold, snowy/wet days, and wears it on its own when it's clear. It fits true to size. However, I do worry about the strength of the material, as it arrived with a rip in the outer fabric above the Patagonia label. Backcountry was great about exchanging, I just hope this jacket holds up long term. Also, Paintbrush Red is very much ORANGE. His favorite color is orange so I took a chance, hoping the photo was more accurate than the color name, and it is indeed orange.
(I used his measurements in this review)

I gifted this to my friend and have his feedback to share:
The nano-puff is the most versatile jacket I’ve ever owned. I’ve been looking for an insulating layer that I can also wear casually in town. I wouldn’t go hiking without this jacket. It fits in its pocket and in my pack till I reach the summit. Once up there, it provides excellent wind resistance and warmth even on days in the 20s. I am 6’ 175# medium build and a large fits well with room for base layers underneath or for a shell over top.
Uses:
Backpacking, casual, snowboarding
